Recipe Notes

this was done one cold night, and we did not have any stew meat or steak, and we all wanted a meal that would fill us and warm us up from the inside out. so my twins said HB meat and from then on we called it Hobo stew, for having HB and not stew meat.

very good stew

Of course you brown the HB (hamburger meat) and drain, common sense is all you need to understand the recipe. Delicious even with mispelled words. Thanks donna for recipe

If you put a recipe up, do it right?

I won't even try this recipe, very poorly worded, spelling was incorrect. Missed many steps. get a grip and try to rewrite your recipe.

HOBO Casserole...

I learned a version of this from my Aunt and Uncle years ago! It is an excellent, filling meal on its own. Of course you drain the hamburger after cooking it and I add a couple of beef broth cubes and salt and pepper. It good ole home cookin!!!!
