Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 can (14 oz.) Swanson® Chicken Broth (1 3/4 cups) or 1 can Swanson® Natural Goodness™ Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 large carrot , cut into 2" matchstick-thin strips
  • 1 medium onion , sliced
  • 4 cups hot cooked regular long-grain white rice , cooked without salt

Cooking Instructions

MIX cornstarch, broth, honey and mustard.

COOK chicken in nonstick skillet until browned. Add carrot and onion. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min. or until vegetables are tender-crisp.

ADD cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Serve with rice.

TIP: For Extra Flavorful Rice: Cook rice in Swanson® Chicken Broth instead of water. No need to add salt or butter.
