Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 11/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

Process all ingredients in a food processor until chocolate is finely ground. Pour into a ziptop food-storage bag, wrap in cellophane and tie with a pretty ribbon.

Directions for 2 servings (attach to jar): Stir 1/4 cup mix and 2 tablespoons hot water in a medium-size saucepan until blended. Gradually stir in 11/2 cups milk. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until hot.

 

Store: Room temp, indefinitely
