Iced Ginger-Lime Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp mild-flavored honey (more to taste)
  • 1/2 cup lime or lemon 1 juice
  • Ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

Combine the water, honey, and ginger in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer 15 minutes and strain. Add the lime or lemon juice. Correct sweetening. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour in the tea, or chill the ginger-water infusion and combine with the lemon or lime juice just before serving.
