Ingredients

  • 1 bag or equal amt fresh shredded cabbage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 TBSP sugar
  • 3 TBSP cider vinegar
  • 3 TBSP half and half or whipping cream
  • 1 TBSP Cream style horseradish

Cooking Instructions

Sprinkle salt over cabbage and toss allowing to stand 5 min. Add remaining ingredients, toss and refrigerate until meal time. I usually prepare as I start my meal preparation. Stir before serving. Obviously, you may adjust to your taste.

Recipe Notes

My Grandmother served this with every festive meal when we had our get togethers. She was of Germanic descent; this was her mother's way.
