Combine all ingredients in blender container. Cover; blend at high speed until smooth and well-mixed. If you wish, add a little milk to thin to desired consistency.
Serve. Store any leftovers in refrigerator, covered, for up to a day.
Variations: Peel 1 very ripe, medium banana; slice and add to ingredients before blending. You can also use chocolate yogurt in this recipe. Stonyfield Farm makes a Chocolate Underground flavor I enjoy; if I use that, I reduce the quantity of chocolate syrup to 1 Tbsp.
