Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, nuts, baking powder, and Lite Salt. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, and egg substitute. Beat at high speed until thick, about 5 minutes. Add anise seeds and anise extract and beat until blended. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, and divide into 2 equal parts. Shape each portion into an II-inch-long roll. Place rolls about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Flatten each roll to a thickness of 1 inch. Brush with egg white.
Bake 20 minutes. Let cool. Slice each roll diagonally into 15 slices, each slice 3/4 inch thick. Place slices on baking sheet. Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until dry. Cool on wire racks.
