Italian Sausage Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 or loaves thawed frozen bread dough
  • 2 lbs. italian sausage (out of casing)
  • sprin to taste salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil

Cooking Instructions

Brown sausage, drain and set aside.

Take thawed bread dough and cut off approximately a 3 inch chunk. Stretch dough flat, add a small amount of Olive Oil in the middle and spread on entire surgace of dough. Sprinkle on the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place a small handful of Italian sausage on the middle of the dough and roll the dough jellyroll style, making sure you tuck in the ends to close Pinch the seams shut.

Bake at 350 degrees, seam side down, till top is golden brown, usually 20 to 30 minutes. Serve while still warm.

Recipe Notes

Prep time can be anywhere from 45 mins to longer. Cook time can be 20 to 30 mins depending on your oven.
