Mix beef and peppers thoroughly. Shape firmly into 4 patties 1/2-inch thick.
Place patties on lightly oiled grill rack over medium-hot coals. Grill 10 minutes or until no longer pink (160°F.). Top each with 2 slices cheese. Grill until cheese is melted.
Place patties on rolls. Serve with additional pepper slices. Makes 4 sandwiches.
TIP: To broil, place patties on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat 10 minutes or until no longer pink (160°F.). Top each patty with 2 slices cheese. Broil until cheese melts.
