Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
TOPPING: Arrange rhubarb, marshmallows, sugar in the bottom of a 10" pan or skillet. Sprinkle Red Hots on top. Set aside.
BATTER: Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add and beat 2 egg yolks.
Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture alternetely with milk.
COMBINE: Pour batter on top of
fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr. Cool. Loosen edges with a spatula and invert onto a plate.
