korean spicy chicken stew

Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 1/4 cup soy sauce(or less/more depending on how salty you want it)(the broth color should be a light dark brown)
  • 6 cups water
  • 24 peices chicken (wings)
  • 4 tablespoons red pepper flakes(or more depending on how hot you want it) ( not the kind you put on pizza!)
  • 1 pinch garlic powder black pepper paprika season salt

Cooking Instructions

1)cut potatoes and onion (or other vegetables such as peppers) into 1 inch cubes

2) mix soy sauce and water in pot and heat on medium high

3) add vegetables and chicken

4) add all spices

5) cook for 40 mins. or until chicken is cooked( chicken maybe a slimy texture... if you dont like the texture bake the chicken until crispy with whatever seasonings you like then add into stew 10 min. before serving

**amazing when you let it set over night but just as good right after cooked

**serve with asian rice
