  • Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 cup diced red pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Grated fresh Ginger (save the juice)
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seed Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Hoisen Sauce
| More

Cooking Instructions

Place the turkey in a bowl and add all of the ingredients. Mix throughly with your hands or the back of a wooden spoon. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for about 20 min.

While the mixture is in the fridge, I preheat my George Foreman Grill. As my grill comes up to temp. I take the mixture out of the fridge and split it into four patties.

I give the grill a quick spritz of non-stick cooking spray and place my four patties on the grill. I cook them for approx. 15 min until done.

Serve on toasted buns with the regular burger toppings or you can go full Kung Fu and top with an Asian Slaw or Ketchup mixed up with the Siracha hot sauce.

Crowd Pleaser

I make these a lot! They are amazing and juicy. People may be skeptical at first, but will be won over at first bite!

Tasty Burger with a Twist

I like making these because they spice up the typical burger with non-typical flavors. The oil in it gives a better flavor, while the ginger and garlic take you to a new burger spot.

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
