Lynette Kittle’s Saucy Salmon Grill

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke (found in barbecue sauce section of your market)
  • 2 lb salmon fillet
  • Nonstick spray

Cooking Instructions

Basting Sauce: Mix all ingredients.

Heat outdoor grill. Lightly coat skin side of salmon with nonstick spray.

Grill skin side down, brushing top with half the sauce, 6 minutes or until skin is blackened. Turn fish over, remove skin and brush with rest of sauce. Grill 6 minutes. Turn; grill 3 minutes to sear skinned side. Cut crosswise in 4 pieces to serve.
