Madarin Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup crisco oil
  • 3 cans mandarin oranges
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup mandarin orange juice
  • 1 cool whip, small
  • 1 cool whip, large
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding, large
  • 1 can crushed pineapple and juice, large

Cooking Instructions

Pour batter (all ingredients up to the cool whip. That is the ingredients for the frosting.) into 4 cake pans. Batter will not come to the top of cake pan. Lay orange slice evenly divided among pans of batter. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool completely before frosting. This is very important! For the frosting, fold the pudding and pineapple and juice into the cool whip. Gently frost the cake. Refrigerate.
