Margarita-Marinated Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Triple Sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 3 pints (6 ounces) strawberries, hulled

Cooking Instructions

Mix sugar, lime juice, Triple Sec and tequila in a medium bowl.

Process 1 cup of the strawberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. Cut remaining berries in half.

Stir puréed and halved berries into sugar mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours before serving.
