Where to find maca

HOW TO FIND MACA: Hi from Dallas Texas - I recently read about the benefits of Maca root from an online organic whole foods store. If you go to WebMD you can read info about this stuff as well. It's a legit deal. I've looked for Maca related products in Whole Foods, Central Market, and Vitamin shoppe's. The most you'll find in mainstream stores is capsules of the stuff. Your can order it in the power form to mix into your drink from the website : www.lovestreetlivingfoods.com, when you place your order ask them about sending you samples of their dark chocoate. I can't get enough of this company's products. I will mention when it comes to Maca. It have a VERY strong vegatable taste. Maca root is in the mustard family - the has a twisty flavor. It will take getting used to. I take the stuff daily in my coffee and tea. I bought it for its energy effects with my workouts. At work I find myself with less sleepy eyed and more chatty after I add this stuff to my beverages. More so than when I have the drinks alone. I'm only 24 so the Uppity problem isn't so much an issue but I will say I am a bit more fiesty after taking the stuff. WebMD mention's that most people notice the effects within a few hours. This isn't a supplement that you have to keep taking and taking before you see benefits. Its good stuff, I am glad to see more talk about it. Email me if you think of any questions. PS: most people who know about maca will suggest the powder over the caspules.. so go the powder route if you can. Regarding the actual WHOLE root - good luck with that. I've surfed the net for this stuff - for discount purposes. I've NEVER seen the root sold by itself. I don't think i'd want it that way anyway. doesn't look pretty. :D
