put milk, salt and baking powder in bowl
let it rise 2-3 minutes then stir with big spoon until thoroughly mixed
put three tablespoons Crisco in pan and place in 400 degree oven to melt
while grease is melting, sift 6 cups flour into the mild, salt and baking powder mixture and beat (manually) until there are no lumps
Then pour in grease and beat mixture until it is smooth
sift some flour onto a cutting board or paper bag--place half mixture onto the flour board and knead and fold for few minutes then do the same to the other half
powder each half of dough with flour and pull off pieces and roll into biscuits (desired size), making sure the tip side is smooth and even
Place the biscuits into the greased pans left from the Crisco and bake at 400 degrees until desired color
Remove from oven and eat--preferable with homemade gravy
