New Liberty Grill Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons yellow corn meal
  • /2 teaspoon baking powder
  • cup butter (2 sticks) melted
  • cup milk
  • 2 eggs (large)

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease 8x8 pan.

Put dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Add butter milk and eggs.

Mix gently. Batter may be lumpy. Do not over mix.

Pour batter into pan.

Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe Notes

I just got this recipe from my aunty. The cornbread is very fluffy and moist. New Liberty Grill is in downtown Honolulu.
