Preheat oven to 350* Line cookie sheet with foil. Add salt to egg whites and beat until soft peaks form. Add sugar and whip until stiff. Fold in nuts and chips. Drop by tsp. on foil. Turn oven OFF and put in cookies. Do not peek. Leave until oven is cool or overnight at least 2 hours. Store in an air tight container.
