Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 T Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 packages Lipton's Herb and Garlic Soup Mix
  • 3/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Cooking Instructions

To ground beef add soup mix worcestershire sauce salt pepper eggs and bread crumbs. Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs and place in baking dish. In bowl combine soup wine and sour cream. Spoon over meatballs cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. During last 10 minutes remove cover. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes

This is an easy and fairly inexpensive recipe that can be made up ahead of time and popped into the oven to bake when you get home from work. Its wonderful served over sour cream mashed potatos or buttered egg noodles.

Not quite swedish meatballs

My boyfriend said these were the best thing he'd ever tasted. They turned out really well and were very easy to make.

These are awesome!

This recipe came after running out of ideas for ground beef. I serve it during the colder months as a comfort food dinner. To round out the meal, serve over mashed potatos or noodles and a side dish of fresh green beans or glazed carrots. For dessert? Hot apple pie!
