Juice the lemons to make 1 cup of juice. To make your labor easier, FIRMLY roll the lemons between your hand and counter top before cutting in half and juicing.
In a gallon pitcher combine 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, and 6 cups cold water. Stir. Adjust water to taste. Chill and serve over ice.

Enter the title of your review Old Fashion LemonadeGrowing up in Florida in the late 50's early 60's each day was always a delight to share homemade lemonade with family and neighbors. We had lemon trees that bare giganite lemons. Each day we would help out with the picking and squeezing lemons. The best medicine on a hot sunny day. This recipe bring back those tasteful memories. |
