Pace® Smoky Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup regular OR reduced-calorie mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. canned cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 1/4 lb. ground turkey *
  • 1/2 cup Pace® Chipotle Chunky Salsa
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves , crushed
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese or 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 4 Pepperidge Farm® Farmhouse Premium White Rolls with Sesame Seeds , toasted
  • 1 large navel orange , peeled and cut into thin slices
  • Thinly sliced red onion
  • Green leaf lettuce

Cooking Instructions

MIX together mayonnaise, cranberry sauce and mustard.

MIX thoroughly ground turkey, salsa, cilantro and thyme. Shape firmly into 8 patties. Top 4 patties with cheese. Top with second patty. Pinch together edges of patties to seal.

GRILL patties 10 to 12 min. or until done, turning once. During final minutes of cooking, place orange slices on grill, turning once.

PLACE burgers on rolls. Top with orange slices, onion and lettuce. Spread mayonnaise mixture on top half of roll. Place on top of burgers.

TIP: *Also delicious with ground beef, chicken or pork.
