Finely cut onions sauté in olive oil until soft on medium heat cut tomatoes into small cubes and add into the skillet while stirring occasionally (it should look like a sauce) add salt pepper bread cut into small cubes sprinkle with Parmigiano-Reggiano and add chopped basil. Remove from the heat and ready to serve!
I discovered this dish while eating out in Tuscany, loved it. Cooked a couple of times at home for my husband and then debuted on my friends. Two people already asked for a recipe! So here it is, enjoy!
