you will need a large pot and a medium pot, both with water, and
a frying pan. rinse rapini with cold water,chop in half and add to medium pot. take the sausage out of the casing and cook thoroughly,then remove it from pan and put it in a dish.check rapini with a fork for desired tenderness. drain water and keep it in med pot. peel garlic and add to rapini, sprinkle salt and olive to rapini as well. bring water to a boil in large pot, add pasta . meanwhile the pasta is cooking ,go to rapini and saute with garlic ,salt and olive oil, mix together.when pasta is cooked, drain ,put it in a deep dish and add with rapini and sausage. spinkle olive oil, italian cheese and crushed red pepper.
rapini and sausage can be made ahead of time. for best taste multi task and serve. I serve it with a side plate of fresh tomato,fresh basil and wet mozzarella.sprinkle with sea salt,crushed black pepper and sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil. Italian
