Melt caramels in saucepan over medium heat, stirring contantly until smooth. Coat 3/4 of each pretzel with caramel, put on baking sheet lined with wax paper, and freeze 6-8 hours or until firm. After caramel has firmed, melt chocolate in saucepan using same method as caramel. Coat caramel covered part of pretzel with chocolate. Pour sprinkles onto plate and roll pretzels in sprinkles until coated well. Return pretzels to wax paper and place back in freezer. Freeze 6-8 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 15-20 minutes before serving. Can also store in fridge after freezing.

BackupThough that is a great idea, the point isn't for it to look fancy, it's for a good tasting pretzel to go with the team |

Turning Bland into something BlissfulFor something that really stands out, try dipping first in caramel, followed by dark, milk and white chocolate. Stagger the three chocolate coatings, starting at 75%, 55% and finally 25% of the pretzel. Cooling and firming time can be drastically reduced to no more than 1 hour cooling per application. Once prepared, these will keep fine in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator. |
