Peach-Banana Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, medium, fresh, peeled and sliced
  • 1 peach, fresh, medium, FDA, peeled, halved, pitted and sliced (or 1 cup frozen unsweetened sliced peaches)
  • 1 cup low fat buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 oz strawberries, fresh, medium, FDA (optional)

Cooking Instructions

1. Wrap sliced bananas in plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours. If using fresh peaches, wrap and freeze them also.

2. Place frozen banana and peach slices, buttermilk, and orange juice into blender or food processor. Process until smooth, approximately 1 minute.

3. Pour mixture into tall glasses and garnish each with a strawberry, if desired.

4. Serve immediately.
