Ingredients

  • 1 Tblsp Peanut butter
  • 2 tsp Mayo
  • 1 SLICE American Cheese
  • 2 leaves Lettuce
  • 2 slices white or wheat bread

Cooking Instructions

Spread one side of l slice of bread with 2 tsp Mayonnaise. (You can more or less according to your own taste.)

Spread one side of 1 slice of bread with 1 Tblsp. Peanut Butter. (You can more or less according to your own taste.)

Place 1 slice American cheese on top of peanut butter side of bread.

Place 1 or 2 leaves of Iceberg lettuce on top of cheese.

Place bread with Mayo on top of the lettuce. (Mayo side down, of course.)

Slice, and enjoy this yucky sounding combination...It's my favorite peanut butter sandwich. Once you try it, I'll bet it will be one of your favorites too.

Recipe Notes

My husband grew up on this one instead of PB&J. I thought it was yucky when he told me about it but once I tried it I was hooked. Now it's one of my favorites.

adds to the combo.

Sliced tomato and a slice of sweet onion really complete this wonderful combo, don't forget the salt and pepper too.
