Peanut Butter Breakfast Bar

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweetened oat cereal flakes with raisons
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit pieces
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 325degrees. Line a 9x9x2 pan with foil. Lightly coat with Pam. In a large bowl, combine cereal, oats, flour and dried fruit. Set aside.

In a bowl, stir together eggs, honey, peanut butter, and melted butter. Our over cereal mixture in bowl. Mix well. Transfer to pan. Press mixture firmly into pan. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Makes 16.

To refrigerate, individually wrap bars in plastic wrap and store up to 3 days. To freeze, place individually wrapped bars in freezer container or bag up to 3 months.
