Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup peanut butter-and-chocolate spread

Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F.

Stir 1 cup sugar with rest of ingredients in a bowl to blend. Roll heaping tablespoonfuls dough into 11/4-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet(s). Flatten, then press with a fork in a crisscross design.

Bake 1 sheet at a time 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies puff and crackle slightly around edges. Remove pan to a wire rack; sprinkle cookies with the 1 tsp sugar. Cool 2 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.

These cookies contain no flour!
