1. Peel and core the pears and slice into the bowl of a blender or food processor. Add the vanilla extract, sugar and the dissolved gelatin, and puree until smooth. Stir in 1 tbsp of the pear brandy. Taste and add the remaining brandy if desired. Chill thoroughly.
2. To serve, scoop into wine goblets or small decorative bowls and sprinkle each serving with about 1/2 cup of blueberries.
