Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rapid boil.
Meanwhile cook sausage in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until browned, breaking up chunks with a wooden spoon. Remove to a plate.
Add oil, peppers and onion to skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Push vegetables aside, add garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in sausage, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors.
Meanwhile stir pasta into boiling water and cook as package directs.
Drain pasta, transfer to a large serving bowl, add sauce and toss to mix and coat.
