Ingredients

  • 3 c White Jasmine Rice
  • 3 1/2 c Water
  • 2 c Mushrooms (Sliced)
  • 1 Medium Red Bell Pepper (Julienne Cut)
  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper (Julienne Cut)
  • 1 Medium Gold Bell Pepper (Julienne Cut)
  • 1 c Teardrop Tomatoes (Cut in Half)
  • 1/4 Bushel Cilantro (chopped fine)
  • 2 T Ginger (Chopped)
  • 4 T Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 lb Beef Steak (Sliced Julienne) Pork works as well
  • 1 oz Fish Sauce
  • 1 oz Oyster Sauce
  • 3 oz Cooking Soy Sauce
  • 1 T Red Chiles (Crushed)
  • 1 t Sugar
  • 1 Half Lime (Squeezed for juice)
  • 4 oz Peanut Oil
  • 2.4 lb Beef gravy (or pork if using pork)

Cooking Instructions

Rice:

Place 3 cups rice in rice cooker pot.

Wash thoroughly 3 times

Add 3 1/2 cups water and cook in rice cooker

After cooked stir to make fluff.

In a large Skillet place 2 oz oil and let get hot approx 1 min.

Add meat let cook til well.

once cooked drain in strainer.

In large skillet place 2oz peanut oil

Let get hot.

add peppers and mushrooms

stir til tender

Add Garlic Ginger and cilantro

cook for 30 seconds

Add Fish Sauce Oyster Sauce and Cooking Soy

Reduce heat and let simmer for 8 minutes.

Add Gravy and let simmer for 10 minutes

Now add your teardrop tomatoes last so that they dont moosh.

Add Sugar and Lime Juice

Let simmer another 5 minutes

Place rice on plate top with Pepper Steak Compote.

Add Crushed Red Chiles to order and eat
