Cooking Instructions:
Cut peppers into strips, cut onions into rings and slice apples in strips. Put into sauce pan with olive oil and cook on medium heat until soft.
Cook chicken breast slices and add to the pepper/onion/apple mix. If you are using deli chicken, cut into strips and add it to the pepper/onion/apple mix.
The deli chicken is already cooked and just needs to be warmed.

03/25/09 04:33 AM | Wow. What an excess of sweetness.I'm not saying things with a hint of sweet is bad. I love thai food, barbecue, etc. but this is a little over the top. First, you have a commercial peanut butter (which adds sugar to the mix) because it's a Jif sponsored event. Then you have honey and honey mustard in the sauce. Then you add to that a choice of any type of apple - but unless you go with a tart apple, that's yet another sweet flavor. There's almost nothing to counteract this sauce sugary flavor because it uses red and yellow peppers, which are both sweeter than green pepers, and onions, which sweeten as they're cooked. This sounds like a chicken-candy sandwich to me.
As an aside, something can't be botha po-boy and a cheesesteak at the same time. |

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
