
MIX turkey, rice, egg, oregano, garlic powder and black pepper thoroughly and shape firmly into 25 meatballs.
HEAT pasta sauce in large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in one layer. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 min. or until meatballs are no longer pink.

Porcupine MeatballsI just finished making these and they were a hit. I used a bit less rice and browned the meatballs before adding the sauce. I also mixed a can of diced fire-roasted tomatoes with the sauce. It was wonderful. |

Really GoodI suggest cutting the rice in 1/2, browning the meatballs then adding the sauce and serving it over the remaining cooked rice with some sauce. Also a little minced onion was really good in the meatballs. All in all...a great base. |

Too Much Rice and a lil dryThe taste was very good but I think 2 cups of rice is too much....They landed up a lil dry so I added some sauce when served. |

Rice...Says "cooked" rice in ingredients....I didn't catch it at first either. |
