In 12-inch nonstick skillet heat oil; add sausage and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until sausage is browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer sausage to plate and set aside.
In same skillet combine onion, bell peppers, bacon, and chili pepper and saute until vegetables are softened, about 1 minute; add remaining ingredients except clams and parsley and cook until flavors blend, 2 to 3 minutes. Add clams and reserved sausage to skillet; cover and cook until clam shells open, about 5 minutes. Transfer to serving dish and sprinkle with parsley.
