Pueblo Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 diced medium onion
  • 1 tbsp minced chile peppers
  • 2 large garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 10 oz packages frozen green beans
  • 1 coarsley chopped and seeded yellow tomato
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • salt
  • pepper

Cooking Instructions

In a medium saucepan, saute the onion, chiles, and garlic in the oil until the onion is translucent.

Add the beans, tomato, and broth (water may be used instead) and cook over medium heat until the beans are tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
