Quiche (meats and cheeses)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg.of 2 deep dish pie shells
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 6-8 slices bacon
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup swiss cheese
  • 3-4 large or medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • dash Salt and black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Cook bacon until crisp.Crumble bacon set aside.

Discard grease.

While bacon is frying, dice ham and grate cheeses according to amounts needed.

Beat eggs,salt,pepper well and combine with milk.Stir in mustard.

Preheat oven 375 degrees.

Brown pie shell lightly.

Cover bottom of pie shell with cheese layering the 3 different kinds.Spread crumbled bacon evenly over cheese. Spread on ham next . Pour egg mixture evenly over ingredients.Bake untill middle is firm. Donot overcook.

Recipe Notes

This recipe can be changed with different meats and/or cheeses.Replace meats for vegetables. Most pie shells have 2 shells to a pack.I usually double the egg mixture and make a vegetable or egg and cheese quiche.
