Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water and raspberries. Pour into a 9" square cake pan. Refrigerate until firm.
Combine pudding mix and milk, and beat together to blend. Slice banana and stir it gently into pudding. Pour pudding evenly over firm gelatin and refrigerate until firm. Sprinkle coconut evenly over pudding and refrigerate pudding until served. Cut three by three.
