Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Cooking Instructions

1. Melt margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook celery, onion, salt and pepper in margarine, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender; remove from heat.

2. Toss celery mixture and remaining ingredients.
