Preheat oven to 350. Coat 2 (9") round cake pans w/ cooking spray. On med-high speed,mix cake mix,milk,eggs,egg beaters,pudding and oil until fluffy. Stir in mini chocolate chips. Divide batter between pans. Bake 25 min. cool. transfer to racks, cool completely. On med-high speed, beat butter until smooth,gradually beat in melted chips until combined. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar,then sour cream until light & fluffy. Place 1 cake layer on plate,spread w/ 1 cup frosting. Top w/ remaining layer. Spraed cake top & side w/ remaining frosting. Garnish w/ variou candy pieces: mini reeses' cups,mini malt balls,minisnickers or whatever candy you like best.
This is a fun cake to make. I tried to make it lower in calories & fat as much as possible,but it still is very fattening, but well worth at least one slice. Believe me!
