Sherry's chocolate fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 12oz. pkg milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut, for decorations
  • 1/2 cup multi-colored jimmies, for decoration

Cooking Instructions

Melt chocolate chips in top of double boiler over very low heat. stir until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in Condensed milk, butter, and vanilla. Blend until butter is mixed well with the chocolate. Stir in nuts. Spread mixture immediately into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.

Cool at room temp. Decorate. Cut into squares.
