Sherry's cube steaks,fried w/ mus..

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz jar dijon mustard
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 6 lg beef cube steaks
  • 1/2 tsp each Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup or more canola oil,for frying

Cooking Instructions

In lg plastic zipper bag,combine mustard and water,add steaks. Seal bag,turn to coat. Let stand 10 min. Drain,discard marinade. In lg shallow bowl,combine flour,salt and pepper. Dip steaks in flour mix. Fry steaks in heated oil, 2 at a time,3-4 min each side or until crisp and lightly browned.

Recipe Notes

I usually don't eat a lot of meat or beef,but loved this recipe. I serve these w/ a ramekin of more dijon mustard.
