Preheat oven to 325.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Mix cream cheese with butter until blended.
Beat in sugar until smooth.
Add eggs. Beat until light & fluffy.
Add lemon juice, lemon rind and vanilla. Slowly stir in flour mix until blended. Mix until flour is completely incorporated into batter. Batter will be heavy. Turn into buttered 8-10 cup capacity tube-type pan, or bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour or until inserted toothpick in center comes out clean. Let cake stand 10 min. Invert and cool thoroughly. Dust w/ powdered sugar. Sprinkle grated lemon rind on top of cake and serve.
This cake recipe I w/ different ingredients to get alternating tastes, but this is my favorite variation.
