Sherry's easy sloppy joe's. ..

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs ground turkey breast
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 12 oz. bottle, chili sauce
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • lg whole wheat buns, like Arnold's

Cooking Instructions

In lg skillet, cook ground turkey breast, onions, celery, gr. pepper until turkey is browned thoroughly. drain. In 3-4 quart slow cooker, combine beef mix w/ all remaining ingredients [except buns.] Mix well. Cover. cook on low setting for 3-5 hrs. Stirring occasionally. spoon mix onto buns and serve w/ salad.

Recipe Notes

Start this at noontime and it'll be done by 5 p.m. or start in morning. You'll have an easy supper, no hassles and who doesn't like sloppy joe's?
