Sherry's Greek Tzatziki sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek-style yogurt, lo fat or fat free
  • 3/4 cup peeled,seeded,shredded cucumber
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp each Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 lg minced garlic cloves

Cooking Instructions

In lg bowl,combine all ingredients,stirring well.Better when refrigerated at least 1/2 hr before serving.

Recipe Notes

They had this at the store, ready-made and I loved it,so I read the ingredients and learned to make my own. I love it as a dip for fresh cut veggies and pita chips.1/4 cup per serving is only about 60 calories and 3 grams of fat.
