preheat broiler. Cut excess fat from pork chops. Bread chops in egg and crumbs. coat well. Broil in pan w/rack about 8 inches away from heat. Lower rack if necessary. Broil for 10 minutes. In small bowl, blend all other ingredients, brush half over chops.Broil another 5 min.
Turn chops over,repeat with sauce, broil additional 5 min. Check for doneness. The chops should be golden brown, not burned.
I love cruchy pork chops that have a bite to them. these are it.

06/03/09 08:20 PM | Not Your Grandma's Pork Chops!I was looking for a recipe to make for my family that would be similar to my Grandma's staple fried pork chops, without all the oil. I was skeptical about the seasoning paste because it seemed to have an awful lot of flavors in it, but it was fantastic. And best of all, it's all ingredients I already have in my pantry. I cut the pepper, we don't like spicy; used red wine instead of the vinegar, and they turned out great! Even my picky little eaters gobbled them up! |
