Sherry's oven fried chicken thigh..

Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken thighs
  • 1 lg egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp light cream
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup panko [Japanese] crumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp melted 'I cann't believe it's not butter" butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 400. Wash chicken, pat dry, set aside. In small bowl, beat egg and light cream. In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, panko crumbs and garlic powder. Dip chicken in egg mix. Then roll chicken in crumb mix. Place chicken in baking pan. Sprinkle with melted butter and oil.Bake for 35 minutes. Increase temp. to 450. Bake another 10 minutes.

Recipe Notes

These are very easy to make with ingredients on hand. If you have no panko crumbs, you can potato flakes instead. In place of garlic powder, you can paprika.
