Sherry's pork chops w/ brie and a..

Ingredients

  • 4 4 ounce each boneless cener cut por loin chops
  • 2 ounces brie cheese
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple cider
  • 2 lg garlic cloves,halved
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary seasoning
  • 2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 1/3 cups chopped red delicious apple
  • 1 lg red apple, cut into wedges,for garnish
  • 2 lg sprigs fresh rosemary, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Cut a pocket in one side of each chop, cut, but not all the way through remaining 3 sides. Cut cheese into 4 portions. Place one portion into each pocket of chops. Secure w/ toothpicks. Combine flour,pepper and paprika, dredge chops in flour mix. Spray a lg pan w/ cooking spray, add oil. Over med heat add chops, cook 3 min each side, until browned. Remove chops from pan. Combine broth,cider,garlic, and rosemary to pan. Bring to boil for 1 min. Remove and discard garlic and rosemary. Add stuffing mix and chopped apple. Stir well. Return chops to skillet. Pour contents, gently, into casserole dish. Cover, bake for 30 min. Garnish w/ apple wedges and rosemary sprigs.
