Ingredients

  • 4 lean 1 lb boneless pork chops
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp each Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp canola or olive oil
  • 1 cup lo-sugar whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 tsp orange peel,grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

Cooking Instructions

Combine chili,cumin,allspice,salt and pepper in small bowl.Mix well. Sprinkle evenly on both sides of chops. Set aside Place oil in lg skillet over med heat. Add chops. cook 5 min each side or until barely pink in middle. Combine cranberry sauce,orange peel,cinnamon and pepper flakes in small bowl. Mix well Spoon small amounts over each chop and serve.

Recipe Notes

This is a great fall dish, but good anytime w/ its spicy-sweet sauce.
