Shortcut Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. Chablis or other dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 4 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles

Cooking Instructions

Heat butter in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned.

Add soup, water, wine, cheese and ham. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min. or until done. Serve with noodles.

Excellent and Quick!

This recipe is exactly what it says it is ... a shortcut version of chicken cordon bleu. It is easy, quick and yummy! This is definitely one of my new favorite weeknight dishes!

what the???

not only does it not mention the ingredients jmd19b mentioned.. but there is no mention of filling it at all. The other picture shown (breaded & filled chicken) must NOT belong to this recipe.

Photo is mis-leading

I would try this recipe, but clearly the photo shown has a breaded chicken breast, as well as possibly spinach? shown as part of the filling, yet does not list any of these as ingredients.
